J. Lohr Costa Vineyard

In the fall of 2007, the J. Lohr team partnered with the Costa family on a vineyard development in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation. The joint venture on one of the Costa ranches was meticulously planned at every step to take advantage of the S.L.H. AVA’s windswept cool climate and distinctive loam soils. Today, the 106-acre Costa Vineyard is planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Fruit from the property contributes to the J. Lohr Estates Riverstone Chardonnay and Falcon’s Perch Pinot Noir releases, as well as the J. Lohr Highlands Bench Pinot Noir.
